Global Director, Medical Science Liaison Training - Alcon
Davida J. White, M.D. is a health care leader with administrative and clinical experience in the government, academic, biopharmaceutical and medical device industry settings. Currently she is the Global Medical Affairs Director of Training and Development for Alcon, a division of Novartis. Prior to Alcon, she has been in the biopharmaceutical industry for more than 11 years, with experience as a Medical Director, Senior Medical Science Liaison, and Medical Science Liaison Team Lead. She has worked across multiple therapeutic areas including pulmonary, allergy, psychiatry, neurology, neonatology, toxicology, infectious disease and ophthalmology. These positions have led to proven abilities in: medical affairs; KOL management and education; MSL team management; strategic planning; training; content development; program/policy development; and regulatory/medical review.
Dr. White is a graduate of Hampton University and the University Of Virginia School Of Medicine. She completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. Prior to entering into the biopharmaceutical field, she had the honor to serve as the Director of Community Health and Outreach Services (Department of Human Services) for the State of New Jersey. She is a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia and a proud mom of two teenagers. She spends her free time coaching girls’ basketball, providing community health education and authoring children books.
